The Little House features accommodations to give you many options.
The mini kitchen has a compact built-in refrigerator, sink, top-of-the-line two burner hot plate, electric griddle, large toaster oven, coffee maker and a microwave, convenient dining service for 4, pots and pans, cutlery, flatware and a selection of spices in the spice rack.
Though a breakfast basket is included with your stay the mini kitchen gives you the choice of fixing your own lunch and dinner. When you're catching fish that could come in handy... If you should decide to drive into town to sample one of our local restaurants Coos Bay is only a 25 minute very scenic drive down river. Or, if you want to really pamper yourselves, ask Sandy to plan lunch and/or dinner for you. Sandy loves to cook. (For this last choice there will be an additional charge and she will need advanced notice.)
A couple of miles down the road we have the Allegany Country Market with beer, wine, sodas, ice cream and a variety of canned foods and dry goods, flour, sugar, etc. for your convenience. In the summer they carry fresh local Allegany home grown produce.

In the shallows you can see to the right and a couple of other shallow places is where you can watch the salmon performing their mating dance.
Once here, in Allegany, you can't help but feel you're a lot closer to Mother Nature. There is a quiet rhythm as day turns to evening, as the seasons change, always bringing something different to look forward to while at the same time, a feeling of missing what has just past. Great motivation for being fully in the moment.
